Electric cars are slowly but surely making their way into the Brazilian market and the domestic auto industry has complained about the impacts of imported vehicles.
So, the Brazilian government is considering reinstating an import tax that had been slashed back in 2015 – when electric cars were still virtually non-existent in the country.
