The World Wushu Championships kicks off in Ft. Worth, Texas on Thursday. It’s only the second time the event has been held in the U.S., and the first time the Chinese martial art competition is taking place since the COVID-19 pandemic. Dozens of countries will be represented, including China.
Ahead of the competition, we spoke with young Wushu enthusiasts in the U.S. to find out why they love the sport so much.
