Established in 1949, China's Central Conservatory of Music (CCOM), a distinguished school for musical education and talent development located in Beijing, came into the spotlight at the revered New York venue.

Members of the music school presented eight original works created by prominent composers tied to the Chinese Music Creation Center of CCOM.

Through the collaboration, CCOM's Symphony Orchestra, established in 2016, has become one of the most significant performance arts institutions in the world, according to MidAmerica Productions, an independent producer of choral concerts at Carnegie Hall.
