Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. hosts NCUSCR Public Intellectual Program fellows at Chinese embassy

Chinese Ambassador to the United States Xie Feng said this week on X, formerly known as Twitter, that it was a “great pleasure” to have the 8th round of National Committee on U.S.-China Relations Public Intellectuals Program fellows at the Chinese embassy.
Xie said he briefed the fellows on the summit meeting in San Francisco, and they had a good discussion on China-U.S. relations and other issues of common interest.
“To them and all young China experts in the US, I encourage you to undertake the historic mission of upholding and stabilizing China-US relations, have the vision to seek common ground and shelve differences, explore together the right way for China and the US to get along with each other, and do more to promote mutual understanding and practical cooperation between our two countries.” Ambassador Xie said.
