Stateless families of Rohingya girls as young as 13 have made the desperate choice to marry their children to men in Malaysia rather than keep them indefinitely in sprawling refugee camps in Bangladesh, where abuse and hunger are rampant.
Rohingya children live on 'the fringe of the fringe,' and many are vulnerable to child trafficking.
The executive director of the Rohingya Women Development Network in Malaysia says she has seen an increase in Rohingya child brides arriving to the country in the last two years.
