Homeless population in Brazil increased tenfold in a decade

Brazil has seen a dramatic increase in its homeless population with a significant spike during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the past 10 years, the number of homeless has rocketed from about 22,000 in 2013 to more than 227,000. The government has announced a plan to address the problem.
