The Iowa caucuses - which comprise only 110,000 voters -- have declared former U.S. President Donald Trump as the winner, securing over 50 percent of the vote in most projections.
In this initial election contest of the year, Trump emerged victorious against competitors Ron DeSantis and Nikki Haley. This outcome positions Trump as the frontrunner for the Republican nominee, with 49 states to go. CGTN’s Dan Williams reports.
