El Niño heightens wildfire risk in Colombia

In Bogota, the capital of Colombia, firefighters are working to contain wildfires that started on Monday, Jan. 22, just outside the city. The El Niño weather pattern, associated with warmer-than-average surface waters in the eastern Pacific, is increasing the risk of wildfires in Colombia. Over 60 wildfires have erupted in the country this month. CGTN's Michelle Begue reports.
