More countries continue to put a pause on their funding to the UN's Palestinian aid agency in Gaza.
On Friday, Jan 26, an Israeli intelligence document obtained by the Reuters news agency alleged that around 190 UNRWA workers had ties to Hamas or Islamic Jihad, identifying a dozen accused of participating in the October 7th Hamas raids in Israel.
The UN fired at least nine of the accused conspirators and opened an investigation.
Many donor countries have paused their funding. The UN secretary-general is now appealing to them to reconsider.
