Brazil sees major racial shift in latest census

Brazil's latest census showed a racial shift in the country. For the first time, mixed-race Brazilians are the largest racial group in the country's population.

In an ethnic melting pot such as Brazil, it's often challenging to classify the population along racial lines – let alone discuss how broad or specific policies must be.
