With the Chinese New Year just around the corner, CMG has launched its Spring Festival Gala trailer, illuminating silver screens across the U.S.

Starting on February 2, the trailer has been hitting the big screens in the largest U.S. cinema chains—AMC and Royal cinemas—across major American cities, including Los Angeles, New York, Washington, DC, San Francisco, Chicago, Boston, Houston, and Dallas.

It's that time of year when families gather to watch the Spring Festival Gala, a cherished modern New Year tradition in China. Since its debut on television in 1983, the annual event presented by China Media Group (CMG) has become an essential part of Chinese New Year festivities.

Get ready for a dazzling 4.5-hour televised extravaganza featuring singing, dancing, opera, sketch comedy, cross-talk, martial arts, and acrobatics. This year's Gala kicks off at 8 p.m. on February 9 (Beijing Time), promising an unforgettable New Year’s Eve.

CMG has revealed that the Gala will be broadcast in ultra-high definition, providing an immersive audio-visual experience across multiple platforms to audiences both domestically and internationally.

CGTN has made full efforts by partnering with over 1,000 media outlets worldwide to broadcast and cover the gala in multiple languages, ensuring that viewers across the globe don't miss out on the excitement.
