Will Valentine's Day spending help boost the U.S. economy?

The National Retail Federation predicts that consumer spending for Valentine's Day in the U.S. will reach nearly $26 billion when all the data for this year is in.

Meantime, inflation remains high and retail sales for last month dipped in what could be seen as a danger sign for the economy.
