Two Colombian cities compete to host COP16

This fall, Colombia will host the next United Nations Biodiversity Conference, also known as COP16.  

The high-level ministerial meeting is meant to guide global action to halt and reverse the loss of nature by protecting the planet and restoring lost ecosystems. But the host city has yet to be decided, with two of Colombia's major urban hubs competing for the honor.
