The U.S. state of California has been pounded by its third major atmospheric river storm of the season, bringing unprecedented rainfall that has once again pushed the infrastructure to its limits.
Californians were spared from a rare tornado that had been forecast, but many areas still remain under the threat of floods and landslides.
