Reproductive rights activists in the U.S. are reacting with concern to an Alabama Supreme Court ruling that is putting the future of fertility treatments into legal question.

The court ruled that frozen embryos created through invitro fertilization - are legally children. 

The decision will have far-reaching consequences for families coping with infertility.
