Every February, the annual Havana International Book Fair showcases some of the finest literature from Cuba and around the world.

The fair promotes reading in a nation that boasts one of the highest literacy rates anywhere in the world – nearly 100%, according to the World Bank, promoting reading, the event is in full swing these days in the Cuban capital, attended by thousands of people from all walks of life.
