Luxury electric vehicle maker Lotus Technology marked a milestone on Friday, Feb. 23, listing on the tech-heavy Nasdaq exchange in New York. 

Trading through a special-purpose acquisition company called L Catterton Asia Acquisition Corp, Lotus Tech made its debut in U.S. markets. The new company valued at more than $5 billion says it will work to achieve dominance in the EV sector.
