Health officials in Ecuador are working on regulations to cover how some terminally ill patients may request euthanasia.
This comes after the country's high court approved the procedure earlier this month.
Ecuador is now the third Latin American country to allow physician-assisted deaths, joining Colombia and Cuba. The legal team involved in the case that changed Ecuador's law discus what this change means for the country.
