Muscatine High School students show gratitude to Chinese President via CMG

U.S. students from Muscatine High School in Iowa expressed their gratitude to Chinese President Xi Jinping to the China Media Group (CMG) on Monday, February 26. More than 20 Muscatine High School students paid an exchange visit to China in January.

During his November 2023 visit to the U.S., Xi announced a plan to bring 50,000 American youths to China for exchange and study over the next 5 years.

Sarah Lande, a friend of Xi in Iowa, had expressed the hope that Muscatine High School students could join the program.

With Xi’s support, Muscatine High School students became the first group of American students to visit China under the program.
