The United States' Environmental Protection Agency is proposing to deem several so-called 'forever chemicals' as hazardous to human health, and set standards to keep them out of the nation's drinking water supply.
These chemicals, called PFAS, don't break down in the environment, can build up in human bodies, and have been linked to a number of diseases and serious health conditions.
