A series of Buddhist culture and art exhibitions kicked off at the Chinese American Museum in Washington D.C. with the support of Longhua Temple in Shanghai, China. The exhibitions will last for six months from March 17 to September 2024.
The exhibitions are supported by Shanghai Longhua Temple, which has a history of more than 1700 years.
Over 200 guests attended the opening ceremony, including Maryland state legislators, and ambassadors to the U.S. from Jamaica, Thailand, and Cameroon.
The exhibitions will last for six months, featuring arts, Buddhism study, calligraphy, and specialties of Longhua vegetarian cuisine.
Longhua Temple hopes to promote cultural exchange and communication between China and the U.S. through Buddhist cultural arts.
