U.S. President Joe Biden was handed a major personal blow this week when his son, Hunter, was found guilty of lying about his drug use on a gun license application.

Hunter Biden could face a maximum of 25 years behind bars following his conviction—a first for a child of a sitting U.S. President.

It’s another unprecedented development in American justice and politics, as legal battles continue to weigh heavily over this tightly fought race for the White House.
