Poverty in Argentina is now running at over 55%, according to a report from the influential Social Debt Observatory at Buenos Aires’ Catholic University. The recently released figures give context to the violent incidents outside Congress this week, as Javier Milei’s government passed its controversial economic reform package through the Senate.
