Mexico betting on new interoceanic railroad line to help boost industry

Mexico has a new link for freight cargo between oceans, which analysts also say could spark a regional industrial boom.

Mexico’s Interoceanic Railroad, a rail project linking the country’s Pacific and Atlantic coasts, hopes to offer an alternative to the Panama Canal transit, which has been made unreliable by low water levels due to drought.
