According to multiple media reports, U.S. prosecutors are recommending criminal charges against aircraft giant Boeing. Prosecutors have told the U.S. Justice Department that Boeing violated a settlement agreed to after two fatal crashes.
The U.S. Department of Justice has until July 7 to decide whether Boeing broke the terms of a $2.5 billion settlement agreed with survivors and families of those who died in the Indonesian Lion Air crash in late 2018, and the crash of an Ethiopian airliner in early 2019.
