California is home to the most polluted beach in the United States, according to a recent environmental report. Water samples taken from Imperial Beach in San Diego County were found to be so toxic that getting in the water is considered dangerous.

The beach has been closed to the public for the past two years while authorities work to address the sewage flow fueling the problem.
