The U.S. Supreme Court puts Florida, Texas social media laws on hold

The U.S. Supreme Court this month delayed a final ruling on whether states can limit the ability of social media platforms like Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube, to block content they deem objectionable. 

The case stems from laws passed in Texas and Florida, and involves competing arguments for free speech.
