The Opening Ceremony of the Paris Olympics promises to be a grandiose event. It will be the first time it hasn’t been held in a stadium. Instead, planners have spent months organizing a performance on the river Seine.

Other innovations for Paris 24 include a Champions Park that will allow fans the chance to meet athletes and watch the action on a big screen at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.

CGTN’s Dan Williams talked with Delphine Moulin who is the Paris 2024 Director of Celebrations about the ceremony.
