Chinese athletes excelled at the Paris Olympics on August 2, boosting Team China'’s medal count to 31.
Huang Yaqiong and Zheng Ziwei won gold in badminton mixed doubles, with their victory boosted by fellow badminton player Liu Yuchen's marriage proposal to Huang after the medal ceremony.
The scene was viewed by all in the Paris arena where the crowd cheered on the couple.
She said yes.
