Around the world, the impact of climate change is increasingly plain to see. Cities and rural areas are at risk and so is our ability to produce food. When the United Nations General Assembly meets in September, one of its top concerns will be to create global policies that protect small-scale farmers, one of the populations most vulnerable to the effects of a heating planet.
