The Antler Creek fire was discovered in British Columbia, Canada, on July 20, burning nearly 37,000 acres (15,000 hectares) of land. The fire was once just 3 kilometers (1.9 miles) from Barkerville, threatening the historic town with the largest Chinese archive collection in Canada.
