Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is defending his alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election results. Despite pleading 'not guilty' in two criminal cases in which he faces charges of election interference, the former president said in an interview last weekend that he had, quote “every right” to interfere.
One of those cases comes from Georgia, a state that's now the center of new controversy, after a Republican-led panel approved new election rules that Democrats say could bring chaos and confusion to election results in the critical battleground state. Poppie Mphuthing has more.
