Argentina battles soaring inflation as economic struggles persist

Argentina released its latest inflation figures on Wednesday, Sept. 11, revealing a price increase of more than four percent in the month of August. The country’s annual inflation rate now exceeds 235 percent. Despite a slight slowdown in inflation, economic activity remains stagnant as Latin America’s third-largest economy continues to grapple with the highest inflation rate in the world.
