Wildfires are burning across Brazil and also neighboring nations as the region suffers through a period of severe drought and heatwaves, it seems unlikely the situation will improve in the coming weeks.
CGTN’s Paulo Cabral traveled to the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso, which has been reporting the highest number of fires.
