Fairfield University in Connecticut hosted a special event on Sept. 16 for U.S. based Chinese Artist Cao Jun. During the event, Cao shared his artistic journey with students and faculty and created two new works: the Chinese painting Pure Lotus and the calligraphy piece Art Conveys Virtue. In honor of the Mid-Autumn Festival, Cao took the opportunity to promote traditional Chinese art to the university community.
