Federal government sends more aid for regions devastated by Hurricane Helene

In the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, the U.S. federal government released $100 million in emergency relief funding Saturday, Oct.5, to rebuild destroyed bridges and roads in the hardest hit state of North Carolina. This comes as U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris was on the ground to observe recovery efforts. Poppie Mphuthing reports.
