Millions of college students starting the new academic year in the United States may be noticing slight changes on their campuses.
With the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision last year banning affirmative action — which for years provided preferential treatment to disadvantaged students of color in admission to colleges and universities — some institutions have already seen a declines in their minority student groups and some traditionally-black institutions recorded higher enrollment.
Experts say the move could jeopardize the quality of education in the long run. CGTN's Ediz Tiyansan reports.
