Colombia’s Orinoco River Basin is a tropical ecosystem, where forests are at risk due to large scale agricultural projects like rice plantations, soy farms and cattle ranching. This region has also been the center of forest conservation efforts. Private farms in the last decade have joined forces to bring attention to this fragile habitat.
