Considered Brazil’s leading event for connecting entrepreneurs from vulnerable communities with major brands and investors, Expo-Favela Innovation has just concluded its three-day event in Rio de Janeiro. This marks the city’s second time hosting the expo, which this year introduces the G20 concept, underscoring the role of favelas, or slums, as key players on the global stage of development and social impact.
