A new mega port is nearing completion on Peru’s Pacific coast. It's being billed as the gateway to Asia. Built by the Chinese state-owned company Cosco Shipping, the multi-purpose port just north of the Peruvian capital Lima in Chancay is expected to open at the end of the year.
