At least one million Los Angeles residents have experienced homelessness at one point in their lives, according to the latest findings by the annual L.A. Barometer survey released by the University of Southern California.
The survey also shows that 29% of L.A. County residents who moved in the last year were forced to relocate due to rising rents. The report paints a bleak picture of housing and affordability in the nation’s largest county, where residents will also be voting on a number of ballot measures on the homelessness crisis.
CGTN’s Ediz Tiyansan reports from Los Angeles.
