The traditional celebration of the Chinese New Year has now been recognized as part of Humankind’s Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The distinction was awarded at the United Nations Scientific, Cultural, and Educational Agency – UNESCO – during a meeting in Paraguay’s capital, Asunción.
