Chinese-Brazilian relations began in 1812 when Chinese tea cultivators arrived in Brazil to establish tea production under Portuguese rule.
While the tea initiative was short-lived, it marked the start of enduring ties between the two nations. CGTN's Lucrecia Franco reports from Rio de Janeiro.
