Ambassador Xie Feng highlights Spring Festival’s cultural significance

In an interview with CGTN America, Chinese Ambassador to the U.S., Xie Feng, highlighted the cultural significance of the Chinese New Year as a symbol of peace, prosperity and global unity. Xie also called on China and the U.S. to strengthen exchanges, dialogue and cooperation.

Ambassador Xie attended the Prelude to the Spring Festival Gala hosted by China Media Group (CMG) in New York City on Thursday, Jan. 16, where he delivered a keynote speech.

The event showcased the rich traditions of the Chinese New Year and celebrated the upcoming Year of the Snake, fostering cultural understanding and mutual appreciation.
