Putin and Trump discuss Ukraine peace talks

China has welcomed the phone call between Vladmir Putin and Donald Trump over ending Russia’s conflict with Ukraine.

The Russian and U.S. presidents are working towards a face-to-face meeting after their phone call on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

But there are major obstacles, as Owen Fairclough reports.
