On March 4, Donald Trump promised the U.S. Congress that he’d deliver the “greatest economy in history.” Right now, investors clearly disagree their doubts have triggered a market plunge so steep that analysts are calling it a “rout.” Losses on Monday, March 10, alone exceeded the annual GDP of France. Stock markets sank yet again on Tuesday amid fears the U.S. President’s trade war will lead to a recession.
