In Colombia, national reforms on healthcare and labor brought tens of thousands of citizens to the streets in support of President Gustavo Petro's proposed changes.
He proclaimed Tuesday, March 18, "Civic Day" and encouraged workers to make their voices heard.
However the reforms face strong opposition in Congress.
