Another setback for Donald Trump’s plan to use a wartime law to deport Venezuelan migrants without due process. A federal judge on Monday, March 24, refused to lift a ban on the use of the Alien Enemies Act of 1798 - saying migrants are entitled to hearings. The ruling comes as the Trump administration ratchets up its anti-immigration policy, including renewed scrutiny of green card and visa holders who may have expressed different political beliefs.
