An executive order is being drafted at the White House that suggests the Trump administration may seek to levy additional fees of up to $1.5 million on China made ships or fleets, according to media reports. This would include ships made in China docking at U.S. ports. The proposal by the U.S. Trade Representative is aimed at breaking the Chinese dominance in the shipping industry, but experts warn that any potential levies added on top of the already existing tariffs could further destabilize global supply chains and the American economy. CGTN's Ediz Tiyansan reports from Los Angeles.
