Egg prices are soaring in Brazil, up more than 40% for consumers this year, according to the Brazilian Association of Supermarkets. Rising production costs, heat waves, and a seasonal surge in demand have driven costs higher. At the same time, U.S. demand for imported eggs is opening new doors for Brazilian producers.
